Let me intoduce myslef here first of all.

My name is Calum Murdo Smith and i live live in Brue on the Isle-of-Lewis which lies of the West Coast of Scotland. I am 32 years old and have been a Christian now for just over 6 years. I will give more details of how the Lord came into my life in the testimonies section at a later date.

I spent 7 years at sea with P&0 Containers which then became P&O Nedlloyd sailing first of all as an engineering cadet before then qualifying as a 4th engineer. I sailed on a number of their container vessels and met alot of good people and visitied a large number of places in the world. I really enjoyed my time at sea but from the moment the Lord came into my life i knew it was no longer the place for me.

I know however that many Christians do still work at sea and that is what has driven me to start this website in the hope that the Lord will bless it to many who find it a lonely experience at sea or those who really enjoy it but miss fellowship with other Christians. My aim is to have some interaction here between visitors and offer prayer support and words of encouragement and testimony from other seafarers and even a point of contact for any who want someone to write to.

Hopefully this will site will be Blessed by God to many.
